Senior DevOps
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our AI-driven precision medicine solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects in a highly collaborative environment with headquarters located in Cochin hospital, Paris.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance infrastructure and scale it across cloud and on-premise environments worldwide
- Identify, implement and maintain the infrastructure services that best suit our needs (databases, message queues…)
- Implement observability tools and maintain applicative and system monitoring dashboards
- Optimize resource usage of our system and control infrastructure costs
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our technology stack and development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps or similar role, with a strong portfolio of backend-heavy web applications.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies: databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, caching…
- Solid expertise in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise of orchestration systems and concerns related to them (scaling, availability…)
- Proficiency in backend development using technologies such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, Java, or similar.
- Experience with IaC technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation…)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.
- Passion for technology and a drive to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
- Experience in the healthcare sector and/or AI-driven applications is a plus
